ADULT FITNESS

DEDICATED ADULTS

From weight loss and injury prevention/recovery to performance improvements and wedding preparation, our trainers have you covered. We are up early and stay late to accommodate different schedules. Most of our training sessions are youth free.

In other words, it is an environment where you train with folks who were born in the same decade as you. They might even listen to the same music as you. Occasionally we do have arguments over whether the music will be from the Outkast Spotify station or the Calvin Harris station. As far as Coach Milo is concerned, give him a little of James Brown's "The Big Payback" or some "Brick House" from the Commodores and he is feelin' good!

Adults can join all class levels: Elements - Essentials - Elite. So, there is something for all abilities and passions.

There are Women's Only classes M-W-F from 9-10. There are Men's Only classes T-TH-SA from 7am-8am. The schedule will be changing a bit in January of 2020. So keep checking back for new classes and times. But, don’t worry, these times aren’t going away!

Class breakdowns:

  • ELEMENTS - These classes are for those new to organized fitness training or for those who are just getting back into training after a long layoff. The human body does seven things: flexes, extends, turns right, turns left, stands on the right leg, stands on the left leg and squats. The ELEMENTS classes will cover each of those moves in a low-intensity format during each class. Much of the resistance in this class comes from using and understanding the body's weight. ... On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most difficult, our ELEMENTS classes will range from a 1 to a 5. The class is limited to 15 athletes.

  • ESSENTIALS - This class introduces and makes use of different types of external resistance. There will a lot of movement with resistance and some of the movement will be explosive. The classes will cover:  Muscular Endurance, Muscular Strength as well as Aerobic Strength. The ESSENTIALS class will be divided equally into bodyweight and external load resistance exercises. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the hardest, the ESSENTIALS classes will range from 3 to 7. Limited to 25 athletes per class.

  • ELITE – Athletes must qualify for this class by scoring proficient numbers in several mobility, strength and agility tests.

In this class, the athletes will perform highly explosive movements with bodyweight and with external loads. These classes will be high intensity, and the athletes will be pushed and challenged both mentally and physically.

There will be numerous occasions that the ELITE class will feature team competitions where each team member will be relied upon and must rely on others. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the hardest, our Elite classes will rarely dip below a 6. Limited to 30 athletes per class.

  • Expert – You serious? Somebody mentioned something about an expert class. Rumors. We really do not know if a MILO Expert class exists. BUT, if it did, would you be ready for it?
